In La Clusaz, we love the home-made patisseries at L’Outa, or the pancakes at La Calèche and La Grolle, close to the Patinoire ski lift.
A cosy setting and a warm welcome await you at La Grolle – not to mention the delicious pancakes…
In Le Grand Bornand, there are some excellent bakeries in the centre of the village where you can sit down and enjoy a delicious après-ski snack: Bétemps and Vulliet have delicious pastries, as does Le Petit Marquis, which also has a shop in Chinaillon.
If you are in Thônes, try the waffles at Chez Jean!
Cake lovers will love the cupcakes from the Petit Marquis …

Several patisseries and tea rooms offer tasty treats – try Le Bélier or Le Sabaudia in La Clusaz, where you will also find delicious home-made chocolates..
It’s impossible to resist the sweets from Le Sabaudia!
At Chez Jorge you’ll find delicious treats like the ‘pastéis de nata’, little puff pastry flans from Portugal – a real speciality!
Enjoy a drink and a snack in a friendly atmosphere
Two pubs are very popular with locals in Le Grand Bornand: The Green Monkey and Les 2 Guides. Both offer a relaxed and friendly welcome which really hits the spot after a day on the slopes. The bars Chez Marcel and Les Clarines are also great places for a drink with friends.
In La Clusaz, the Brasserie Centrale is one of the village’s oldest establishments. It’s also a favourite with locals, along with the Bali Barand Le Bachal, which do great tapas to open your après-ski evening.
